Honeycomb: a natural delicacy par excellence
Comb honey, also known as honeycomb honey or knife honey, is a raw product with a special quality. Unlike liquid honey, it is neither filtered, heated nor extracted. Bees build wax cells in which they deposit pollen and honey. Once the combs are full, the beekeeper carefully removes them from the hive and cuts them up. This traditional method preserves all the flavors and nutritional values of the honeycomb.

The authenticity of comb honey is expressed by the presence of propolis and pollenwhich add further virtues. This unprocessed product can be stored for around two years in a cool, dry place.
