Harvested in France in the Haut-Languedoc mountains in 2024
Mixture of garrigue flowers (heatherthyme, lavender, rosemary, etc.). Strong aroma.
Strong, floral taste, reminiscent of thyme…
Beautiful crystallization.
Our Garrigue honey is made from the nectar of thyme and lavender flowers, rosemaryand dorycnium. In some years, its taste resembles that of thyme, since thyme is so abundant. But the blend of other garrigue flowers makes for a very fragrant, flowery honey. This makes it ideal for sweetening herbal teas and infusions. It also goes well in Mediterranean-style culinary preparations such as tajine or any other meat-based dish.
It will delight lovers of southern fragrances.
