Mexico<\/strong> is one of the world’s leading honey exporters, thanks to its exceptional climate. Honey is harvested mainly in the eastern states of Yucatan<\/strong>, Quintana-roo and Tabasco. The flora of these states consists mainly of primary tropical forests, rich in melliferous plants and trees. Beekeeping is already well developed here, and continues to become more professional. <\/p>\n

Over there, the average production per hive is a dream, between 40 and 70 kg per hive. By comparison, in France, the average harvest is 20kg! <\/p>\n

The result is a honey of excellent quality, often with an organic label. The honeyflow lasts 4 months, from March to June. The honey, little consumed by Mexicans, is exported mainly to Germany. That’s why we find a lot of it on our shelves in Europe. <\/p>\n

ORGANIC Yucatan honey is harvested in primary rainforests primary rainforests<\/strong><\/a> of southeastern Mexico.<\/p>\n
